Amenity Maintenance 101

We take amenity maintenance VERY seriously over here at Mount. It’s just like going to the doctor, but for well… amenities. And of course, you wouldn’t EVER skimp out on a doctors’ appointment, would you?


On a serious note though, just like any vehicle, maintenance is a key part of keeping your electric amenity in tip-top shape. We know it can be tedious and may not be the most convenient thing ever, but we promise it will prevent lots of oopsies and lots of paperwork.


Our recommendation is to schedule maintenance for your amenity every month, but we encourage you to thoroughly read up on the maintenance guidelines from your amenities manufacturer. For Mount Hosts, proof of maintenance will be required by Mount every month in order to stay on the platform and maintain insurance coverage.


In between scheduled maintenance, it is important to regularly check your amenity; we suggest after every guest check out.


I know, I know this sounds like a lot, but if you incorporate it into your guest check-out/ cleaning routine, it will be a piece of cake! For example, for a scooter or bike during this quick check you’ll want to check for any visible damages to the amenities, check for lost/ loose parts, tire pressure, damages to the tire, and finally, test that the brakes are functioning. This should take you max, five minutes! A healthy amenity is a happy amenity, and a happy amenity makes you money!
